Scungio Borst & Associates awarded the CM work for 3 DRWC Projects

Award Announcement: Scungio Borst & Associates has won the Construction Management work for three Delaware River Waterfront Corporation projects:

Pier 68 Redevelopment – Renovate existing pier by removing about ¼ of the pier, remediating structural deficiencies, and cleaning up / adding grass and plantings on remainder to create a fishing pier. Some street and sidewalk improvements are part of this work.

Spring Garden – Pier Connection – Remove concrete sidewalks from 2nd Street to Delaware Avenue and replace with new concrete, pavers and street trees. Add new lighting to the underpass at 2nd street and accommodate the SEPTA bus stop locations.

Spruce / Callowhill  Street Improvements – Implement new traffic patterns by creating a left turn lane at both Spruce and Callowhill Streets on Columbus Blvd. Vehicular traffic will be changed to two ways for the first block of Spruce Street and the first two blocks of Callowhill Street. Additional improvements include ADA, signalization, and drainage upgrades.
